of by my good friend Thomas Constantine of the city of Dublin gent, the half thereof for the use of my dearly beloved wife Mary Woodward for her life and the other half for my only son Benjamin Woodward when 21, then he to have said principal sum.

   To my very good friend Thomas Williams of Williamstown, co. Meath, Esq. £10 for mourning.

   Appoint said Thomas Williams and my wife Mary Woodward to be exors and guardians to my son Benjamin Woodward during his minority and should said exors die then I appoint said Thomas Constantine to be exors with the surviving exor.

   Codecil: Should my son Benjamin Woodward die without issue and under 21 his heir to be my niece Mrs. Anne Paine provided she live to attain 21, should she die then same to Joseph Woodward son to Charles Woodward, deced, when 21 and should he die then to his sister Mrs. Abigail Woodward.
   Same date and witnesses
   Admin of the goods with the will and codicil annexed of John Woodward late of the city of Dublin, Esq. Deced, was granted for the use and benefit of Rev. Strafford Lightburn, Clke., principal creditor of deced; Mary Woodward one of the exors having died before proving the will, and Thomas Williams and Thomas Constantine the surviving exors having renounced, and Benjamin Woodward, gent, son and next-of-kin and principal legatee having renounced his title to the goods of sd deced and consenting thereto. Dated 12 Nov. 1746


Prerogative Will:

   Mary Woodward of the city of Dublin, widow of Major John Woodward late of the city of Dublin, deced.

   Whereas I am seized of one seventh part of the lands of Aghanavannah, alias Aghnavannagh, co. Wicklow, in right of my father John Due, Esq., and as one of the co. heiresses of said John Due to hold to me and my heirs for ever; and am also entitled to a legacy of £50 bequeathed to me by my sister Constance Walker; now I bequeath to Benjamin Woodward of the city of Dublin, gent, son to said Major John Woodward all said lands and my title to same, and also sd £50, and all my residuary estate and appoint him sole exor.
