Ardagh Will: (nuncupative)

Some short time before Mr Claudius Beatty of Lismore, parish of Clongesh, county Longford, gentleman, being in his dwelling house where he had been resident for six years and upwards before, and in his last illness of which he died, did declare his nuncupative will as follows: To my daughter Anne Beatty of Lismore all my household goods, chattels, stock, I am possessed of. The deceased so declared said will on the 11th, November inst.

On 30 November 1837, Anne Beatty, sole legatee sworn to execute this will, before George Crawford, V.G. of Ardagh. [The will is a copy]

Clogher Will:
John McVittie of Aughalisabea, parish Clownish, county Monaghan. To my dearly beloved wife Janett the sum of 3 pounds 6/8 pence per annum for her life out of the lands of Aughalisabea and Derilea [Derrylea] it being the full moiety of said lands as let formerly.

As to my personal estate, a piece of gold, one good cow, a bed and bedding of clothes, one room and milk of two cows to my said wife Janett during her abode on said lands of Aughalisabea.

To my well beloved son Simon McVittie whom I appoint sole executor all my lands together with the rest of my goods and chattels whatsoever.

On 27 March 1705 - Thomas Nixon, George Little and Thomas Boll swear as to witnessing before Will: Leslie, Surrogate.
Indorsed: John McVitty's will 1704 Aghalisbea, Tydavnet [Tedavnet?]

Clogher Will:
James Beatty, senior, of Dromdarge [Drumderg?], in parish of Inniskillin [Enniskillen], county Fermanagh I allow "James ooge Beatty" my son-in-law his full quarter of Drumdarge and Tullenevan? with the sums grazing I held of him during his wife's life, and in case Margaret Beatty wife to said James ooge Beatty die before the ground lease expire, at her decease said part shall be equally divided between John Beatty and James Beatty, Junior. I order the sum of 49 pounds 6/4 pence together with my movables and all my worldly substance - I allow a third part to my wife, and as to my land or proportion of said lease I likewise allow it equally divided between my two sons John Beatty and James Beatty. And
