(68)   Barbry Beaty alias Dudghen wife and spouse to Edward Beaty
Defuncti of Drumhalry in the parish of Carrickgallen, county Leytrim.
      I bequeath the lease of the land of Drumhalry to my son Richard Beaty
as it was so ordered by his father in his last will he to pay for my funeral.
To my eldest son Martin Beaty one heafer 2 years old.
To my second son John Beaty one heafer 2 years old.
To my daughter Mary Beaty one heafer 2 years old.
To my son William Beaty one big cow.
To my son Edward Beaty one big cow, 3 heafers 3 years old and
one fillie 2 years old, also my bed and bed clothes, one pair of sheets,
half a dozen napkens and 2 pewter dishes.
To my son Richard the lease of my land called Drumhalry.
Residue of my personal estate, goods and chattels whatsoever to
my loving son Richard Beaty and appoint sole executor.
To be buried in the churchyard of Killishandra.                        her

        Plaintiff John Betty of Mullengarr, county Westmeath, inn keeper, now a prisoner in the goale of Mullengarr, sheweth.   That one Hugh Bowen of Mullengarr aforesaid, Esq. H. M’s collector for county Westmeath, about 5 or 6 years since last part being seized of an estate yet in being of a large house, garden and several out houses with parks and lands thereunto belonging in the town of Mullengarr wherein PLT. lately dwelt did by deed about 5 years said demise same to PLT. for 17 years or more according to what term he had therein himself, excepting one year at 16 pounds rent.  That Bowen was to put a grate in the kitchen of said house and seele and plaster the rooms that by virtue of said lease PLT. entered and was possessed thereof there 5 years and improved the premises at an expense of 100 pounds to PLT.  That PLT. owed one James Johnston of Mullengarr 6 pounds, he Johnston by combination of Bowen threatened to arrest PLT. for same if he would not pay or give said lease of PLT.’s house in pleadge to Johnston.   That
