to the heirs of my son John Williams; remr to my third son Henry Williams and his heirs; remr to my grand child William Williams eldest son of my eldest son William and his heirs; remr to my own right heirs.
     To Jane Lougher alias Swift daughter to my sister Ann Swift alias Louder £20; and to my said sister £5; and to my nephew Robert Swift son to my said sister £5.
     To my fourth son Thomas Williams £10 yearly for his maintenance charged on my estate.
     I order if there be ever any allowance made either of the half or the whole of the personal estate which I have lost in Ireland from 1st Nov. last, in such case if it be recovered, my daughters Alice, Jane, Ann and Elinor and my youngest son Phillipp shall each have £50 more additional legacies.
     I appoint my worthy friends Charles Meredith of Newtowne, co. Meath, Esq., Capt. Henry Guitler of Robertstowne, Capt. Peter Wertensor of Bawnebridge, Joseph Woodward of Drunsbarragh, Esq., John Halsh, of Kells, gent., all in co. Meath, to be exors and trustees, and leave to each of them 40/- for a mourning ring.

     Codicil:     William Williams of Mahonstowne, co. Meath, gent.
     For as much as the great disorders and desolations of Ireland have produced such a revolution since I made my will that it moves me to revoke part thereof.
     I devised to one of my sons 32 acres in the townland of Kells. I revoke same and now devise same to my son-in-law John Peters to him and his heirs by my daughter Alice, failing then to the heirs of William Fenton son-in-law and said John Peters.
     I have also by said will devised to the three children of my son-in-law William Betty £60 equally, and since I made said will two of said children are dead, I revoke said devise and bequeath to the surviving child the sum of £30.

     On 12 Nov. 1692 Charles Meredith, Peter Wertensor, Joseph Woodward, Esqs., and John Hatch, gt., renounce their exorship & desire that admin. May be gtd to William Williams, eldest son of testator & principal legatee.
     Probate gtd 7 Feb. 1692[-3] to William Williams, Esq., son of testator and principal legatee named in above will.
