May 19, 1741. Indented deed. Between John Beatty of the town and county of Monaghan, Gent. and Alexander Henry of Knockreagh, Barony of Farney, Co. Monaghan. “Reciting that whereas John Lord Bishop of Clogher by indenture of lease bearing date the fifteenth day of May One thousand seven hundred and forty one did demise unto the said Jno Beatty all that and those the lands of Tullygoniell, Mullitmore & Mulloughinshigagh with the Mountain Barrs thereunto belonging all situate in the Parish of Tidawned [Tedavnet] of County of Monaghan aforesaid for the term of twenty one years from the first day of May aforesaid at the yearly rent of eighteen pounds…” John Beatty assigned the above mentioned land to Alexander Henry with a provision of redemption. Witnesses: Richard Graham of Culmain, Co. Monaghan, Esq., Brabazon Noble of Carrick McCross, Co. Monaghan &Walter Steel of Castle Blayney, Co. Monaghan, Innkeeper. The memorial is witnessed by Adam Noble of Carrick McCross. Registered November 23, 1741.
