January 4, 1738. John Beatty of the town and Co. of Monaghan demised to John Boyle of Coolkill, Co. Cavan for £100 the “Rectorial & Impropriate Tythes” for the lands of Platten [Platin], Co. Meath, the parish of Bellewstown, Co. Meath [lease of 41 years], the parishes of Julianstown & Colp, Co. Meath [lease of 11 years]. Lease has proviso of redemption that if the £100 is repaid the deed will be void. Witnesses: John Bullfinch of Coolkill & Wm. Gaa of Coolkill. Memorial is also witnessed by Arnold Mathew of Grivy, Co. Monaghan.
