September 2, 1734, between Henry Beatty, Apothecary of the City of Dublin and Catherine Beatty al’s Flemyng his wife of the one part and Edward Richardson, Esq. of the City of Dublin, James Smyth of Dublin Gent. and Packenham Beatty of Springtown in the County of Longford, Gent on the other part. “Reciting (int al) that no settlement or Provision was then made or settled by the said Henry Beatty for the said Catherine or for the issue of the said marriage and then by the said articles the said Henry Beatty and Catherine Beatty (for the considerations therein ment. And in order for the settling and securing a support and provision for the said Catherine (in case she should survive her said husband and for the children of the said Marr. Did Transfer assign and make over all the fortune money goods and chattels which the said Henry Beatty and Catherine Beatty als Flemyng are intitled unto by virtue and in the Right of the Last Will of her father, Richard Flemyng dec’ed or any otherways howsoever in right of the said Catherine unto the said Edward Richardson, James Smyth & Packenham Beatty and the Surv’r and S?? of them and the Ex’rs and Adm’rs of such Surv’s to and for the Several uses Intents Trusts and purposes therein ment’d and expressed which said Articles was perfected by the said Henry Beatty and Catherine his wife in the presence of Ira Gordon Gent. and James Davison Clerk to George More Publick Notary in Dublin and this Mem’l is witnessed by the said Frances Gordon and James Davison.
