June 29, 1732. A Memorial of a Deed of Assignment indented quadripartite…Made between George More of the City of Dublin Gent of the first part, Charles Beatty of the City of Dublin Apothecary and Elizabeth Beatty als Edgeworth his wife of the second part, Richard Edgeworth of Edgeworthstown in the county of Longford of the third part and Francis Blake of the City of Dublin Esq. and Edwin Sandys of the same Gent of the fourth part reciting as therein recited the said George More for the considerations therein mentioned by the direction and appointment of the said Charles Beatty and Elizabeth his wife, testified by their being respectively partys to the said assignment and signing and sealing the same hath surrendered released and confirmed unto the said Rich’d Edgeworth all the estate Right Title Interest and Term of years unexpired of him the said George More of in and unto the Towns and lands of Aghadonagh, Aghantarrogh [Agantragh ?], and all his the said Richard Edgeworth’s part of the town and lands of Lissahandan als Lissanedin als Lissaghaneden, Aghnegeragh als Aghnagiragh, Freel als Frilly, Lisduffe, Rosemine and Garryduffe, Braghwie als Breah als Brehy, Killenewas als Killinawsee als Killinaue als Killinause als Kilnesawee, Coolermerigon als Coolmerigon, and Garrynegree, Carhonreagh & Drumderick als Drumderrig and also of and unto the six cartrons of Lisserdonnell which were commonly know and distinguished by the several names of denominations Viz. Lisserdonlin als Lisserdowling als Lisserdowlle alias Lissdowncere als Lisnedila als Lessardowlin als Aghavevin als Aghanewan, Clonacosny als Cloanecosney als Cloonahushy, Tuerfin als Terefin als Torefin als Twerfin, Agharickard als Agharickart als Aghi Richard, Cartroncappell als Cartroneapple als Cartroncappull, and BallyMacWilliam Eighter als Ballymac William, and of in and unto all his the said Richard Edgeworths part of the Towns and lands of Tihalmon als Tyhalmon and Gibalman als Whyhalman and Ballymac William Oughter with their and every of their appurtenances all situate in the County of Longford aforesaid and of in and unto all the other lands and premises mortgaged by Francis Edgeworth the late of Edgeworthstown aforesaid Esq. dec’d father of the said Richard to Simon Easton late of the parish of Margaretswestminster in the county of Middlesex. Barony Deed or mortgaged by the aforesaid Richard Edgeworth to Hne’y Edgeworth Esq. and which were assigned by the said Henry Edgeworth to the said Geo More with their and every of their appurtenances except only the aforesaid Towns and Lands of Edgeworthstown als Mastrim and Aghafin which were Exp foly mortgaged by the aforesaid Francis Edgeworth to the said Simon Easton Barr dec’d for the term of one hundred years to hold the said Town lands & premises by the aforesaid surrendered or released (except as before excepted) unto the said Richard Edgeworth his heirs Exrs & Adms and assigns as in this or their first and former Estate subject nevertheless to all and every mortgage and other securities which by two several deeds bearing equal date with the said deed of assignment were assigned over by the said Charles Beatty unto the said Francis Blake and Edwin Sandys at the Reg and with the consent of the said Richard Edgeworth and further by the said Deed of assignment the said George More for the consideration therein mentioned as well by the direction and appointment of the said Charles Beatty and Eliz. his wife by ye direction and appointment of the said Richard Edgeworth testify by their being parties thereto and sealing an subscribing the same did grant assign and set over unto the said Francis Blake and Edward Sandys their Exr, Adm’r and assigns all the Estate Title Interest and term of years of him the said George More of in and unto the aforesaid Town and Lands of Edgeworthstown als Mastrim including that parcel of the said lands called Kilogeneesawee and of in and unto the aforesaid Town & Lands of Aghafin with their and every of their appurtenances by aforesaid virtue of a certain deed of mortgage in the said assignment recited dated the thirty day of September one thousand six hundred ninety three made by the said Thomas Edgeworth to the said Simon Easton for one hundred years or by force and virtue of a certain tripartite deed bearing date the third day of September one thousand seven hundred twenty six (in the said assignment likewise recited) made between Walter Nugent of Carpenterstown in the County of Westmeath Esq. to the sd Hon Edgeworth als(?) Richard Edgeworth or otherwise howsoever together with the full benefit of the said deeds and of a decree of the High Court of Chancery obtained by Chickester Phillips Esq. being test the first day of July one thousand seven hundred and eight in the said assignment also recited so far forth only and no farther than as the same or any of them charge affect or bind could or might charge affect or bind the aforesaid Towns and Lands of Edgeworthstown als Mastrim and Aghafin with their appurtenances and not otherwise to hold the said Town and Lands of Edgeworthstown als Mastrim including that parcel thereof called Killogenesawee and also the said town and lands of Aghafin and the benefit of the aforesaid decree and all other Premises therein before granted or assigned unto the said Francis Blake and Edwin Sandys or therein before mentioned or intended to be granted or assigned to them unto the said Francis Blake and Edwin Sandys and each of them their and each of their Exr Adm’r and assigns during all the residue of the said term of one hundred years demised by the said Francis Edgeworth unto the said Simon Eaton which remain unexpired at and under the yearly rent of one pepper Corn upon such trusts and to such uses interests and purposes as the said Richard Edgeworth should thereafter think fit to limit and declare of and concerning the same which said Deed whereof this is a Memorial and Mem’l are witnessed by John Saule Clke to Edwin Sandys of the City of Dublin, gent and Jas Davison Clke to Geo More of the said City Publick Notary.
