June 20, 1732. A tripartate deed of assignment between Charles Beatty of the city of Dublin, apothecary of the 1st part, Richard Edgeworth of Edgeworthstown, Co. Longford of the 2nd part and Frances Blake and Edwin Sandys of the city of Dublin of the 3rd part. Charles Beatty grants to Blake and Sandy at the request of Edgeworth “the remainder unexpired of a term of ninety one years which was limited to the use of Elizabeth Edgeworth of the city of Dublin widow deceased by certain deeds of lease and release in the said deed of assignment recited bearing date respectively the ninth & tenth days of July one thousand seven hundred twenty three, the lease being made between James Martin of the city of Dublin merchant of the one part and Thos Newcomin of the said city Esq. of the other part…” The lands belonging to the deceased Elizabeth Edgeworth had been mortgaged by her husband [for a description of their numerous land holdings see the next deed Vol. 70, p. 330] in several deeds and a number of judgements had been granted against his assests by Edmund Palmer of Dublin, John Worthington of Dublin, bricklayer & Vincent Bradston of Dubin, Gent (Trinity term 1708). John Pears of Dublin also obtained a judgement against Francis Edgeworth in the Court of Common Pleas (Trinity term, 1st year of the reign of Queen Anne). Another judgment against Francis Edgeworth was obtained by Katherine Price, widow of the Borough of Wicklow (Trinity Term 1700). Witnesses: John Saule Clk to Edwin Sandys of the city of Dublin and James Davison Clk to George Moore of the city of Dublin. Registered June 22, 1732.
