March 6, 1731. Between Henry Edgeworth, of Lissard, Co. Longford of the first part and Charles Beatty of the City of Dublin, apothecary and Elizabeth his wife of the 2nd part and George More of Dublin, Gent. of the third part. In a deed dated September 3, 1726 Walter Nugent of Carpenterstown, Co. Westmeath sold to Henry Edgeworth of Lissard, Co. Longford, “the lands of Edgeworthstown al Mastrim, Agafin and in and unto the towns lands and heriditaments of Aghadonagh, Aghantarragh, Kilognesawce and the said Richard Edgeworth’s part of the town and lands of Lissahandan als Lissanedin als Lissaghaneden, the town and lands of Aghnegeragh als Aghnagiragh, Freel als Frilly, Lisduffe, Rosemine and Garryduffe, Braghwie als Breah als Brehy, Killenewas als Killinawsee als Killinaue als Killinause als Kilnesawee, Coolermerigon als Coolmerigon, and Garrynegree, Carhonreagh & Drumderick als Drumderrig all situate in the County of Longford aforesaid and also the right title and interest if any of the said Walter Nugent in and unto the six cartrons of Lisserdonnell situate in the County of Longford…” granted in a tripartite deed of assignment dated Sept. 1693 between Francis Edgeworth of Edgeworthstown and Simon Eaton, late of the parish of Margarets Westminster, Co. Middlesex. “Henry Edgeworth in discharge of the trust in him reposed by the last will of his mother Elizabeth Edgeworth widow dec’d and as Administrator of his father the said Henry Edgeworth Esq. deceased and as guardian to the said Elizabeth Beatty and for the consideration therein mentioned at the request and with the direction and consent of the said Charles Beaty and Elizabeth his wife…sett over unto the said George More all the estate right title interest and term of years yet to come and unexpired of him the sd Henry Edgeworth in and unto the before mentioned Town and lands…” Witnesses: John Gardner, servant of Henry Edgeworth & James Davison Clke to George More of the city of Dublin Publick Notary.
