May 20, 1742. Deed of Annuity. Rev. John Batty of Ballyheally, Co. Westmeath, Clke granted to Margaret Batty widow and relict of Charles Batty late of Ballyheally, Gent deceased, one annuity of forty pounds, payable out of the town and lands of Ballyhealy (800 acres) situate in the Barony of Delvin and Co. Westmeath, for the natural life of Margaret Batty. In return Margaret Batty released her dower interest in the lands held by Charles Batty, deceased. Witnesses: Rev. Joseph Espine of Dublin and William Ward of the city of Dublin, merchant. Registered July 5, 1742. |
