May 18, 1735. Deed of Lease & Release. Between William Teighe of the city of Dublin, Gent & Charles Batty of Ballyhally, Co. Westmeath, Gent. of the one part & Caleb Emerson of the city of Dublin, looking glass grinder and Peter Querin of the city of Dublin, friend and surviving trustee nominated and appointed in articles of agreement made on the marriage of Bartholomew Clossy of the City of Dublin with Ann Clossy als Ogle his late wife deceased. There is a tripartite release between Sight and Charles Batty of the 1st part, Caleb Emerson and Peter Querin of the 2nd part and Bartholomew Clossy and Nicholas Ogle of Disartally, Co. Westmeath of the 3rd part. Peter Querin and Caleb Emerson paid £800 to William Teighe and by the marriage articles and with consent of Bartholmew Clossy & Nicholas Ogle and additional sum of £278-18/- was paid to William Teighe for a total debt of £1078-18/5. William Teighe with the consent of Charles Batty grants to Caleb Emerson & Peter Querin the lands of Ballynure, Bolanstowne, Ballinlough, Vaddington, Ballyhare and part of Ballrath, in the Barony of Delvin and Co. of Westmeath.
