April 23, 1760. Between Mrs. Mary Greyson of Swandlingbar in the County of Cavan of the one part and John Betty of the said Town and County, merchant of the other part and also of a Declaration of Trust on the back of the said Deed of Lease bearing date the sixth day of September 1765, witnessing that the said Mary Greyson for and in consideration of the rents services and other covenants therein mentioned did demise and lett unto the Reverend Veaitch Betty of Kilsob in said county from the first day of May the next all that and every the Tenements and kitchen garden in said Swandlingbarr in as full and ample manner as said John Betty then possessed the same together with the plot of ground at the west end of said John Betty’s new house reserving four feet of the same for a passage to the backside of said house for the use of Mrs. Greyson. As also with twenty one acres of the Hawkes Wood then possessed by said John Betty adjoining Mrs., Humpheys park another pool (except as therein excepted) the said demised premises being taken by and let unto the said Veaitch Betty his heirs in Trust and for the use of said John Betty during his natural life and after his decease to the use therein limited. To hold for and during the Lives of said Mary Greyson, Owen Wynne and John Wynne sons of Col. Owen Wynne of Hazelwood…” Witnesses: Lettia Jones of Swandlingbar spinster and Andrew Betty of the Town of Cavan, both in the County of Cavan.
