November 19 & 20, 1760, lease made between Peter Beatty of Coolaerty, Co. Longford, “eldest son and heir at Law of Robert Beatty late of Coolaarty aforesaid Gent, deceased of the one part and Peter Thompson of Cloonfin, in the county of Longford Gent of the other part, and the release made between the said Peter Beatty of the first Anne Beatty of Coolaarty aforesaid widow of the said Robert Beatty of the second part.” Anne Beatty signed over her Dower interest in the estate of Robert Beatty to Peter Beatty. Peter Beatty with the consent of Anne Beatty granted to Peter Thompson “the towns and lands of Coolaarty, Muckerstaff, Tonywarden and Corbane situate in the said county of Longford and the town and lands of Coolure situate in the County of Westmeath…” Also lands of Stewartsbrook situate in Co. Westmeath and the lands of Ballawillen and Springtown situate in Co. Longford. Witnesses: William Noble, City of Dublin, Bryan Magennel of Coolaarty, Co. Longford. Memorial witnessed by Wm. Hamilton of Feriskin, Co. Longford.
