December 20, 1751; John Beatty of the town of Monaghan demised to Cormuck Finnegan, John Kelly & Patrick Bryan, all of the town of Drogheda, weavers “all ye part of the lands of Mount Granvill in the Co. of Meath then in the possession of the sd Cormuck Finnegan, Jno Kelly & Patk Bryan contg by estimat’n twenty four acres sit lying & being within the lands of Blattin & part of the mearing & bounding to part of the lands of Beamore on the east to Jas Metcalfs holding on the south to lands in the poss’n of the sd Jno Beatty.” Lease for 31 years “provided the 3 lives mentioned in a lease from the Rt Honble Wm Graham Esr. Dec’d to the sd Jno Beatty of the sd lands & prems shall so long continue…” Witnesses: Jas Jones of Blasin, gent., Wm. Elliott of Drogheda, merchant; and Peter Russell of Leggawarin, farmer.
