February 21, 1760. “Between John Beatty of Barnagrow in ye Parish of Dromgoon & Co. of Cavan of ye one part & Jas. McFaddin of Drumartin in ye Parish of Kill & Co. afores’d.” John Beatty demised to Jas. McFaddin part of Barnagrow “known by the hold’g of Hugh Martin.” [Description of land follows] lease of 3 lives: John Beatty, Margaret Beatty his daughter & George Beatty his son. Yearly rent 7 shillings, sixpence. Witnesses: George Beatty and Jne Mahood both of Tulliwik and Wm. Moffat of Drumartin, all of Co. Cavan. Memorial is also witnessed by Wm. Moffet & Jas. Smith of the City of Dublin, Gent. Registered Aug. 26, 1761.
