July 11, 1759; John Beatty of Kingorry, County Monaghan sold to Robert Forster of town and county of Monaghan, merchant, for £39-19/4 “that part of Kingorry aforesaid formerly possessed by Joseph Beard ..” John Beatty had leased this land for 3 lives or 21 years from Edward Lucas. This deed to be void if John Beatty should repay to Robert Forster the £39-19/4. Witnesses: John Brennan of Glaslough, Co. Monaghan, gent. & James Swanzey of Avalbane, Co. Monaghan. Memorial also witnessed by John Burges of the town of Armagh, gent.
