Indented Lease “between John Beatty (sic), Steven Beatty & Rolland Beatty, all of Killymittan in ye Co. of Fermanagh Gent. of ye first part & Elizabeth Beatty of Cavnalogh [Cavanalough ?] in ye Co. of Fermanagh aforesaid of ye sec’d part & John Beatty of Backhill in ye Co. of Tyrone & James Beatty of Mackney in the Co. of Tyrone aforesaid of the third part. Witnessing that the said John Beatty for & in consideration of ye sum of thirty pounds ster. to him in hand paid by the sd Elizabeth Beatty, John Beatty & Jas Beatty & the sd Steven Beatty & Rolland Beatty for & in consideration of the sum of five shillings ster. to each of them in hand paid by sd Elizabeth Beatty, John Beatty & James Beatty hath thereby given granted bargained sold aliened transferred made over unto the sd Elizabeth Beatty, John Beaty of Backhill & Jas Beatty their heirs, Exrs Admrs & assigns all their right title & interest of in & to the Town & Lands of Killee & Cavnalogh sit. lying & being in ye Co. of Fermanagh…it is thereby concluded & agreed upon by & between the sd Elizabeth Beatty, John Beatty & Jas Beatty their heirs Exrs & Adms & assigns that the sd Elizabeth Beatty is to hold & enjoy the one third part of sd lands of Killeee & Cavnalogh during her natural life & after her decease the sd one third is thereby granted & conveyed to the sd John Beatty…of Backhill & ye said Jas Beatty…” Witnesses: John Irvine of McGuires Bridge, Co. Fermanagh & Robt. Johnston of Deystennan of Co. Fermanagh & Geo Lendrum of Cruise in Co. Tyrone. Memorial is also witnessed by Wm. Chittick of Trelick, Co. Tyrone.
