September 4, 1754. Deed “between Martha Davison otherwise Beatty widow of the one part and Robert Davison Preacher of the other part both of the Parish of Skeery in the Barony and County of Antrim whereby the said Martha Davison being intitled by the Last Will and Testament of her husband John Davison deceased to certain lands and holdings in Lower Knockbuey [Knockboy] in the Barony and County aforesaid during her natural life did by and with the actual consent of her Guardian the Reverend James White and said Robert Davison Let and to Farm Let unto the said Robert Davison his heirs & assigns the said Lands and holdings for and during the Natural Life of the said Martha from All Saints then next at and under the yearly rent of £3-16/10…” A house is to be built on the said land for Martha to dwell in. Witnesses: Rev. James White of Whitehall, John Davison of Knockboy, malt maker and James Davison Linen presser, both of Co. Antrim
