June 1737. Pakenham Beatty of Colerain in the County of Antrim Esq. and Charles Beatty of the city of Dublin, Gent, co-executors of all & singular the goods and chattels of John Beatty late of Springtown in the County of Longford Gent deceased did demise and sett unto the Robert Beatty of Springtown aforesaid Gent all that and those ?? or six cartrons of land commonly called and known by ye name of Springtown situate in the Barony of Granard and County of Longford with the appurtenances in as ample manner as ye same was at any time held and enjoyed by the said John Beatty Decd by virtue of a lease made to him thereof by James Howison Esq. To hold ye premises unto the said Robert Beatty his Exrs Admrs and assigns from the first day of May then last past for the term of twenty four years at the yearly rent of one hundred pounds ster which said lease and this memorial are witnessed by John Borrows of the City of Dublin Gent and William Thompson of Cloonfin in the County of Longford Gent.
