February 8, 1731. Deed of Mortgage between “John Dunbar Bate of the city of Dublin, Gent., Robert Roberts of the same city, Esq. and Pakenham Beatty (sic) of Coleraine in the County of Londonderry of the one part and Rob Savage of the same city Gent. of the other part. And the release made between the said John Dunbar Bate and Robt Roberts of the first part and Pakenham Beaty of the second part Richard Edgeworth of Edgesworthstown in the County of Longford Esq. of the third part. Anna Dowling of the City of Dublin aforesaid widow of the fourth part and the said Robert Savage of the fifth part whereby the said John Dunbar Bate, Robt Roberts and Pakenham Beaty by the appointment and with the consent of the aforesaid Richard Edgeworth testified by his being a party to the said Deed of release and sealing and subscribing the same for the severall considerations therein mentioned did grant release and confirm unto the said Robert Savage all that the town and lands of Lackan situate in the County of Longford aforesaid wit the appurtenances to hold unto the said Robert Savage his heirs & assigns forever…” Condition of Redemption.
