of £2000. That said Isabella Beaty has lately died and did not receive said £200 and she died unmarried, but had attainted her age of 18 and upwards, and died possessed of estate to the value of £200 which she had acquired by her own industry and frugality of which Packenham Beaty or Charles Beaty possessed themselves and administered to Isabella. That on 4 Sept 1730 Plt. married Anna Beaty one of the daughters of said John Beaty deced and in her right became intitled to said £200 and to a share of the assets and effects of said John Beaty in as much as all the sons of John Beaty had been preferred by his previous to his death. That Plt. during his wifes lifetime requested Pakenham and Charles Beaty to pay same and the share to which she was intitled in right of her sister Isabella, but they have evaded paying to Plt. pretending that the bond executed by Pakenham Beaty to his father was originally lodged in the hands of Claud Beaty brother to said John Beaty deced, on whose death same came to the hands of his widow Isabella Beaty who is since deceased; and Anne M’Cawly alias Gordon his niece having administered said bond was in her hands. That Pakenham and Charles Beaty so evading Plt., Plt. has applied to said Ann M’Awly to put same in suit against said Pakenham Beaty, but before Plt. could do so, Plt.’s wife died on 2 January last leaving Plt. with three daughters and Plt. has administered to his said wife the Prerogative court and hath renewed his request to Pakenham Beaty who now refuses and combines with Anne Beaty widow, Charles, John and Robert Beaty, and with Alx Burroughs who is married to said Martha Beaty, and with said Martha Burroughs alias Beaty, and with John Beaty and Catherine Beaty the children of Henry Beaty deced, and also with Robert M’Cawly and Anne M’Awly his wife. Prays that writs may be granted against Pakenham Beaty, Charles Beaty, John Beaty, Robert Beaty, Ann Beaty widow, Alexander Burrows and Martha his wife, Robert McCawly and Ann McCalwy alias Gordon his wife John Beaty the younger and Catherine Beaty to answer in the premises Bill entered 22 July 1742; amended 17 Nov 1742 by order of 13 Nov.
