Dublin Will:

Rev. Edward Beatty, B. D., of Blackrock, Curate of Kilmacud and Stillorgan, diocese and co. of Dublin. I bequeath all my property to Michael Harris, Esq. and to John Beatty, M. D., both of Dublin, in trust to hold same for my wife Elizabeth Beatty. First the lease I had from the Bp. of Kildare has been transferred to Dr. Beatty he to pay thereout to said Elizabeth Beatty £100 per annum. Secondly there are £600 in debentures and one for £50 in the hands of said Michael Harris, all at 5 % interest which interest is to be paid to said Elizabeth Beatty for her life and then these debentures are to be divided at her death, three of the £100 are to be paid to sd Michael Harris and the remaining £350 debentures the interest thereof to be paid to Mrs. Alicia French wife to Humphrey French, Esq. of Blackrock, and at her death are to be given to Miss Harriet French their 2nd dau. or in case of her death to her elder sister Miss Rebecca Margaret French. In witness whereof 18 Oct. 1814. Edward Beatty.
John Bryan of Dublin, Esq. swear to the signature of testator the will, not having been witnessed; swear 30 March 1815. probate granted to Elizabeth Beatty the widow & principal legatee 10 April 1815.

Prerogative Will:

Rev. Robert Beatty of Moydow, Co. Longford.
To be buried in the churchyard of Moydow near my late wife Eliza Beatty.
My leasehold property in Shruel and Garreniagh together with my property in Newry (of which Mr. John Hamilton, attorney now collects the rents) in trust to the Rev. Dr. Handcock of 32 Marlborough Street, and Richard Ledwith, Esq. to hold for the use of my dau. Eliza Beatty when she is 21 or upon her marriage, and in the meantime the profits thereof for her maintenance and the overplus to her future advantage. I also leave Capt. Ledwith’s bond and Dr. Butler’s bond for the benefit of my sd dau. Eliza, and also leave her all my money in 5% Government stock and 3% stock; deducting from same £300 to purchase a commission in the army for William Beatty [probably son--?legitimate-of his bro James—see will of Ellen Beatty on p. 41. –PC]
To the poor of the parish of Milcomick £20.
To the poor of the parish of Moydow £20.
I appoint Richard Ledwith Esq. and Rev. Robert Handcock, exers.
I leave a horse to Capt. Ledwith as a small token of long subsisting
