121 Administration of the goods of Ambrose Stinson, late of Killeshandra, Co. Cavan, gent., deceased, granted to James Laynge. His principal creditor. 27 January 1700 -1.

[164] 46. Mar. Lic. George Beaty of the parish of Killashandra and Isabelle Kinsing of the parish of Kilsherdiny. 1 Feb. 1703 -4.

48. Will of James Bredin of Snakiel [Snakeel], Co. Cavan, gent. To my dear sister Mary Beaty wife to Lieut. Charles Beatty the yearly interest of £50 being the half of a sum of £100 due to me by Thomas Fleming, senior, Esq., and Thomas Fleming, junior, Esq. to have for her life. To James Farris of Dromorgool after the death of my said sister Mary Beatty, £30 part of said £50, or same to the children of said James Farris equally if more than one child. To the wife of William Irwine £10 part of said £50 after the decease of my sister Mary, same to her or her children. To William Farris of Cappagh or his children £5 part of said £50, and to George Bigger's wife or her children the remaining £5, all after the death of my sister Mary. To Robert Farris of Drumcartagh and John Renney of Killashandra, merchants, a bond of Lieut. Charles Beatty's for £10, equally to both after the death of my sister Mary his wife. To John Parker my nephew £50 the other half of said £100 due me by the Flemings. To the poor a bond of £10-10/- due me by Josiah Hindman and John Trumble, viz: £6 to the parish of Killashandra to be distributed by Mr. Gideon Jacques and the remaining £4-10/- to be disposed of by Mr. Jacques for charity with the approbation of John Parker and John Renney. Appoint my loving mother Elizabeth Bredin sole executrix and residuary legatee for life, then to John Parker and his heirs, if he dies without lawful heirs then to his natural daughter Margaret Parker £60 but if John Parker die leaving lawful heirs they to give said Margaret Parker £30 upon her marriage. Appoint Alexander Osburne, Thomas Baxter, Robert Farres and John Renney overseers. In witness whereof 24 April 1704 [the will not signed or witnessed]. Probate of the will of James Bredin late of Snakiel, Co. Cavan, granted to Elizabeth Bredin his mother, the sole executrix named. 12 Dec. 1704.

90. Will of Olliver (sic) Stephens, junior, of Gortnashangan [Co. Cavan]. To my dau Mary Stephens the half part of Gortnashangan and her heirs, she paying £50 to her sister Ann. My farm stock (specified) to pay to Alex. Irrvin(?) and Robert Johnson £13 upon the lands at 5 half years beginning at May next. To my sister Ann Nickells £10. To my nephew Richard Stephens 5 cows. If my daus. die without issue I leave to my sister Ann Nickels half said land and the other half to Richard Stephens. I desire
