The following are descendants of James Beatty who settled in Toronto in 1830, and died 3 May 1865. He m. 1832 Anne dau. of James McKowen of Dublin and had three sons and five daus.

  • I. William Henry Beatty, of Toronto Barrister at Law b. 10 Dec 1833, m. 26 April 1865 Charlotte Louisa dau. of James Gooderham Worts and had two sons three dau.
    • 1.Harry Worts Beatty, of Toronto b. 29 Apr 1866, m. 2 June 1896 Myrtle [?] Jane dau of Joseph Robert Lee and his issue
