Prerogative 1681
JOHN BEATYE of ffarinseer, parish of Killashandra, Co. Cavan, to be buried at Killashandra. Son-n-law Martin Armstrong. Son John Beaty of Corr. My wife. Son Francis gets Farinseer. My 2 little sons Charles & Arthur get interest of leases of Lacken, Co. Longford & Drumno, Co. Cavan equally divided between them. Dau. Margaret. Sons Samuel & Robert interest in Gortindaragh. Son Archibald gets Drumboun (Drumcon?) [Yes, certainly Drumcon as he is so described in his mar lic.] and Clogy. 2 daus Anne & Margaret. Mentions Claud Beaty [i.e. his grandson] Dated 5 Nov. 1681. Witnesses Geo. Beatty, Edward Beatty, his mark. Archibald Ellet his mark. Proved Prerog 20 Dec. 1681.

Kilmore Will 1722
JOHN BEATTY, of Corr, Co. Cavan, Gent. Youngest son Edmond Beatty gets Corr on account of the care he has taken of me these several years past. I myself being infirm in my limbs & able to do myself no service. Eldest son Claud Beatty. Son John Beatty. Dated 21 July 1722. Witnesses George Anderson, Archibald Beatty, Thomas Hendry. Proved dio. Kilmore 10 Feb. 1726/7.

Kilmore Will 1731
CHARLES BEATTY, of Farranseer, Co. Cavan, Esq., to be buried in Church or churchyard of Killashandra. Dear wife Mary Beatty, who is an aged sickly and infirm woman. Nephew Edward (recte Edmond) Beatty of Corr, parish of Killashandra. Charles, son of my nephew Ed. Beatty of Corr aforesaid. My nephew Charles Beatty, son of John Beatty late of Springtown, in the county of Longford one diamond ring and two pair of gold buttons. Dear brother Arthur Beatty of Lacken, Co. Longford, Gent, Dated 7 Jan. 1731/2 proven dio. Kilmore 14 Jan, 1731/2.

[Note: James Bredin of Snakeel, Killashandra, Co. Cavan, in his will, dated 24 April 1704, proved dio. Kilmore 12 Dec. 1704, mentions his dear sister Mary Beaty, wife of Lieut. Charles Beaty.]

Kilmore Will 1741
ARTHUR BEATTY of Farranseer par. Killashandra, Co. Cavan, Gent. Son William Beatty gets various things including “one large oval table I brought out of the county of Longford.” Son David Beatty. Son John Beatty “hath been disobedient and behaved in such manner as he is not entitled to my favour.” “Lastly I constitute and appoint Mr. James Young of Drumgoon, my son-in-law William Trimble and my son David exrs of this my last will and testament & order that my said son-in-law and son so appointed as two of my Executors be always subject to the advise and direction of Mr. James Young.” Wife living. Dated 8 April 1741, proved dio Kilmore 11 Dec. 1741.

Prerogative Will 1729
Lieut CLAUD BEATTY of Coolarty, Co. Longford. Arrears of half pay. Lands of Corr in Co. Cavan, [several unreadable words] Capt Charles Beatty. Wife Isabella. Entails Coolarty on his nephews sons of his brother John Beatty, lately deceased, viz Pakenham Beatty eldest son, Charles B. 2nd son & John B. of Monaghan, 3d son. Dated 17 Nov. 1729 [sic in my note, msut be wrong] proved Rerog 28 Oct. 1729.

Prerogative Will 1758
JOHN BEATTY of town of Monaghan, Esq., Trustees Edward Lucas of Castle Shane, Co. Monaghan, Esq. & my son John Beatty. 2 daus Sophie & Anne Beatty. Son Hugh Beatty. Date 9 Nov. 1758. Pr. Prerog 1 March 1759.

ROBERT BEATTY of Springtown, Co. Longford. Wife Eleanor Beatty, otherwise Thompson. Only son Robert Beatty, dau Mary Anne Beatty, dau. Jane Beatty, dau Martha Beatty. Exr. Peter Thompson of Fairmount(?), Co. Longford, Gent. Dated 20 April 1760, proved Prerog 30 May 1769.

Prerogative Will 1805
JOHN BEATTY of Spring Park, Co. Longford, Esq. Marriage settlements with dear wife Margaret Beatty, otherwise McCally. Eldest dau. Isabella B. gets Spring Park. My other daus Margaret B., Eleanor B. & Mary B. dated 29 Dec. 1805 & pr. Prerog 7 April 1815.
