    Clogher Diocese – Notices of Banns of Marriage & Marriage Certificates – 1708-1830

Banns of Marriage between John Boyle of parish of Killeevan & Elizabeth Bediah of parish Drummully were duly published in the parish church of Killeevan for 3 Sundays.
[Signed] 5 January 1806 by Wm. Ingram, curate of Killeevan, and directed to the Rev. James Hastings, R. & V. of parish of Drummully. The marriage was solemnized on 6 Jan. 1806 by Rev. Alex J. Hall in presence of Robert Beatty, Francis Adams & Christy Dean.
    Rev'd. & Sir; Please to publish the Banks of Matrimony between William Moore and Mary Moore, both Protestants of the Parish. Certified by Archibald Elliott (and) Robert Beatty.
To Rev. Mr. Hall. The marriage was solemnized 20 Feb. 1807 by Rev. Alex. Hall in presence of Eliza Hall, Nathaniel Clarke & Richard Hall.
    To this Rev. Mr. Hall. Rev. Sir. Please to publish the Banns of Matrimony between William Morton and Margaret Bird, whom we certify to be both Protestants of this Parish.
[Signed} Robt. Beatty, Mark Liddle, Wm. Coulter. The marriage was solemnized on 10 April 1804.
    John Boyd of the Parish of Killeevin and Elizabeth Riddeck, of this parish, both Protestants. Certified this 22 Dec. 1805 by Hugh Cassidy, Edward Redick, and Robert Beatty.

    Release dated 23 May, 1799, whereby Huston Elizabeth Beatty of the town of Donaghadee, Co. Down, spinster, only surviving child and heiress at law of Henry Beatty, late of Donaghadee, merchant, deceased, for considerations there mentioned, released to Hugh McQuoid of Granger in the parish of Donaghadee, Co. Down, farmer, that parcel of land or farm called part of the Island Hill, containing 19 ac. 2 r. 24p. Cunningham measure, as formerly in possession of John McWheeny, deceased, situated in the parish of Donaghadee, aforesaid. To Hold from 1 Nov. next for the lives of H.M. George III., H.R.H. Geo. Prince of Wales, and Prince Frederick Duke of York, as held under Nicholas Crommelis, Esq. at £9 yearly rent and a pepper corn as renewal fine, and subject to a life annuity of £30 a year to said Huston Elizabeth Beatty.
Witnesses: Frances Hutchinson of Donaghadee, and John Magill of Grangee, both in Co. Down.

    John McGill swears as to witnessing at Belfast 1 Nov, 1800 before John Tidwell, Master Extraordinary.
