And that farm hear one side of Rawnboy bridge now in possession of Arthur & Wm. Ennis to hold same besides the lands of Gartmordungg and Tavagh, Middle Kilsob (in possession of the Gelwnans and McWard & Thomas Farrelly and Heirs) and that part called Rusick? (in possession of Lawrence Barman).

   Hugh Bowman swears as to the witnessing at Quarter Sessions of Cavan, Co. Cavan 12 July 1796 before F. Saunderson, Ind. Exe. in presence of Francis Johnston & Robt. Sanderson, J.P.'s.

   Prerogative Will:-
   Rev. Rowland Betty of Lakefield, Parish Templeport, Co. Cavan,    Clke.
   To be buried in my family vault in Templeport Churchyard.
   Whereas I have already settled sometime since by deed all my landed property consisting of 5/8ths of the whole of the lands of Kilsob, including my house and demesne of Lakefield, the whole divided into 8 parts, on the sons of my dear brother Wm. Betty, Esq., beginning with the youngest one after another with several remainders over, which deed I hereby confirm.
   As to the rest of my substance, consisting of lands, bills and notes and securities for money due me consisting of £500 altogether and also £300 in the 3 ½ Government debentures and £1,300 in Grand Canal 6% debentures, all which debentures are in the safe keeping of my brother William Betty; and also consisting  of arrear of rent due me exclusive of the great temporary abatements I have lately made in said lands Kilsob; and also of interest due me upon said bonds &c;  and also consisting of my household furniture, farm stock & c, I dispose of same as follows:
   To my dear niece, Mary Simpson for her kind attention to me for several years past all said bonds, notes and securities, and also said three debentures of £100 in 3 ½ % Government debentures, and also three debentures of £100 in 6% Grand Canal, all to her sole use, and she to pay her mother, my sister, Mrs. Simpson for her life one half the interest thereof not to exceed £25 a year.
   To my niece, Mrs. Redmond £100 debenture in Grand Canal and to her two daus. Mary and Belinda Redmond £100 each in Grand Canal debentures, and shall either of them die under 21 or unmarried, share to survivor.
   To John Redmond and Rowland Redmond two of the sons of my said niece Mrs. Redmond £100 debenture each in Grand Canal, and shall either die under 21 share to survivor, but their mother, my said niece, Mrs. Redmond, to receive the interest thereof for the education of her said children.
   To my niece Ann Simpson one debenture of £100 in Grand Canal.
   To my niece Mrs. Orr one debenture of £100, she to receive the interest thereof without control of her husband.
   To the eldest dau. of my said niece Mrs. Orr £100 debenture when 21 or on marriage.
