For my "cent and I owe" and all the rest of my goods and substance hence with one other cow that is held for nuter to Thomas Mabrid.
My exor. To pay my debts and if anything remains, same to my nearest and dearest relations.

   On 3 April 1655, James Bettie swears as to the witnessing, and on same day Jannet Bettie, widow of testator to admin; before Geo: Lovell.

   Prerogative Will:-
Charity Betty of City of Dublin, widow of Rev. Christopher Betty, late of Cherry Mount, Co. Meath, dece'd..
      To be buried in Moynalty near my dear father, mother and husband.
      To my three sons-in-law, John Smith, Lewis Austen, and John Sharman, one guinea each.
   To my four youngest children, viz: Rowland Betty, Maria Betty, Leonora Betty and Christopher Betty, all money or securities for money whatsoever in hands of my brother Richard Chaloner, Esq., or any other person, equally.
To my two youngest daughters, Maria and Leonora, aforesaid all my wearing apparel with house linens, except one bed to my son Rowland as he may have occasion for it when out of his apprenticeship.
      My small stack of plates equally to my 4 youngest children who are all unm[arried].
      To my brother, Richard Chaloner, my  beloved father's picture.
      To my eldest daughter Charity, my diamond ring.
      To my second daughter Mary her father's picture.
