Handly. On 1 September 1778 Andrew Forster and Rowland Beatty sworn to execute the will, with power reserved to Adam Blakely. Before John Hawkshaws Com’r.

Ardagh Will:
97  Francis Beatty of Lissiny parish of Drumlumman, county Cavan.
To my only lawful child Elizabeth Beatty my entire property and all debts due to me except as hereafter, but in case she should die before maturity it is to go to my brother Charles's and my sister Martha's children equally. Should my daughter marry without consent my brother Charles to have the interest therein and to the lands of Lissany.

To my two nephews Tomas and Peter Reilly 10 pounds each.
To my natural child Ann Beatty 10 pounds.
Appoint my brother Charles Beatty, John Trimble of Mullaughduff, and Mr Robert Ferguson of Killeshandra to be executors and to see to the interest of my child.

Also 53 pounds due to me by Claudius Beatty of Drumbrad, let it be put to the use for my lawful child Elizabeth Beatty, and my executors to give Sally Harwood 3 guineas for mourning?

To my nephew Charles Reilly a loom and all tackle.

Ardagh Will:
Edmond Beatty of Lismore.
To my dearly beloved wife Eleanor Beatty 20 pounds a year, same to be paid to her by my nephew Anthony Kilroy out of the lands of Aughnashanagh? for her life to be paid to her by my said nephew as per the lease now in the hands of Andrew Ferguson formerly of Curry and now of the city of Dublin, and should said Eleanor Beatty die before the expiration of said lease in such case my will is that said profit rent of 20 pounds together with 1 pound 8/9 which is paid over the rent by Francis Reilly and
[      ] Hunt, to be paid to my two nephews George and Edward Beatty sons of William Beatty of Drumbrade, county Cavan and to his two daughters during said lease.

To my said wife a milk cow, a bed and bedding half my silver spoons and every article she brought here [household furniture specified]

My holdings in Lismore to be set to a solvent tenant and the profit thereof to go to pay my illegitimate son William Beatty of Ballyshannon, and my illegitimate daughter Catherine Beatty the sum of 100 pounds each, afterwards my interest to said lands to go during my lease thereof
